5 Simple Nature Walk Resources for Your Homeschool

Not all learning has to take place within a classroom! Taking a nature walk and being outside in general has so many beautiful benefits in a homeschool.
There are many obvious opportunities to learn about science as you make observations and interact with nature, but you can also incorporate mathematics, art, and PE (just to get you started!).
When our curriculum first suggested nature walks, I searched around online for some useful tips to help guide our lessons. More recently, I have found a few good resources from other homeschool moms & bloggers that can hopefully give you some inspiration as well!

I especially love this Printable My Tree Journal you can use on your nature walks as you learn about and identify different types of trees.
- Jenny from Faith & Good Works Blog shares about a unit study on Wildflowers she conducted with her kiddos. She offers a few good resources to use that you can pick up for a study like this!
