Homeschooling Fun Through the Holidays

Right about now is when I tend to hit a mental roadblock in our homeschool.

The school year is about halfway over, and with the holidays approaching, we are ALL ready for a break. Or, at least a slight change in routine to overcome the inevitable winter blahs.

There are some amazing opportunities for teaching and learning through the holiday and winter season, both in “school” work and character training. I have been working on a series to encourage you to get your kids involved in acts of service this season (so many fun ideas I can’t wait for you to read about!). I have also been working with some amazing homeschool bloggers who have written series of their own to help homeschool moms thrive through the holidays.

Each day on this blog, I will be sharing a new way you can incorporate service into your homeschool, and teach your kids the value of giving back to others.
