One of the things my preschooler absolutely loved this year

were our surprise bins. What we did is we had a bag of the numbers one through five

and every day he would pick out one of the numbers and match it to the bin with that same number

And in that bin, there was an activity or a surprise for him to play with to keep him occupied

and to help him learn something new. So what are some of the things that I

included in the bin for him? He loved the paint daubers, where

there was a number on each marker, and he had to match that to a number in the activity booklet

We had a dinosaur balance activity, cards that he could match up or play a matching game with

We had this moldable foam putty that he could play with. We loved this design blocks book

And I would rotate out the bins every couple of weeks or so just to keep things interesting

and that he wouldn't get bored. If you have a preschooler that you're homeschooling

I encourage you to give this a try and put some fun surprise bins together. They will really enjoy this activity
